Last Monday, our baby turned two months old. I officially can no longer report her age in weeks from here on out, at the risk of turning into the embarrassing mom. I can just picture her walking across the high school graduation stage... "My baby! She's 932 weeks old!"
Yeah. I just don't think she'd care for that.
But I can still brag about her health stats! She weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds, 3 ounces - 97% in weight. 23 3/4 inches - 95% in height. She can coo, smile, track with her eyes, and hold her head up quite nicely when on her tummy - all of the two-month mile markers. She even sleeps through the night starting last week! We are grateful to God, thanking Him daily for this precious gift of joy in our lives. Here were some takes from a recent little photo session...

(Is that a Grant face above or what?!)

Oh. One funny story about the trip to the doctor. Now, our baby is the definition of chill. Pretty much always quiet. Doesn't fuss unless she's hungry or tired. Well, I saw a new side to her the moment that nurse practitioner put the tongue depressor in her mouth - she went ballistic! He said most babies don't like that part, but he'd never seen one get that mad. I have to say it was kind of funny, but a bit startling! We now know she might be relaxed most of the time, but if she has to do so, she'll tell you what's on her mind!
