Last Wednesday through Friday, I took Naomi to Upland, where we got to spend a short 24 hours with my mom and brother. They made a trip out to TU so that he could register for the Fall semester. I went a day early so we could spend time with the Zeeb family, our fabulous friends...
Naomi had a BLAST playing with the Zeeb kiddos! Alexa and JD were wonderful with her. They all three have a special bond, because this was the home in which we stayed for the few weeks before Naomi was born! JD got to watch the mystery of a large belly disappearing and a baby "Yomi" taking its place. :)
We went to Alexa's gripping t-ball game and JD played peek-a-boo with Nay.
Look at her face! And his! They had the greatest time playing together with their blankies.
Kristin and I experimented with some new table foods for Naomi, both of which she loved. Cheese ravioli and watermelon. The face in this picture doesn't look like she was very happy, but she was. No, cinnamon rolls were not on the menu. (See two posts down.)
Mimi brought a new toy - a little tykes piano! A new favorite. Can't believe I didn't get a picture of Naomi with her awesome Uncle Will...

One sad little caveat - that pile of rubble? It used to be the house I lived in my senior year of college. Bummer. Alyssa, Steph, Jess - wipe your tears, the Carriage House is gone.
Someone wasn't cooperating for the welcome service at registration, so we hung out in the chapel lobby. But what a fun day it was - we are SO excited for Will to start this new phase of his life. It's so full of opportunity and excitement. We can't wait for him to begin college AND be so close to us!
