Grandparent Time!!

My trip to Kansas City with Naomi last week was good and not so good. We were away from Grant for 9 DAYS, which was a definite first (not so good). The 9-hour drive with the baby and just me was a definite first too (undecided)! She was wonderful, but it was nothing to sneeze at. The week was FULL of graduation events and visits to family (very good!). In the middle of all of it, Naomi got sick like never before (NOT so good). I'll post later with pics of that which will evoke all sorts of pathos. Her virus might be the reason you didn't get a phone call for a get together. If you're reading this thinking, "She was in Kansas City?! Why didn't she call me!?", that's probably why. I cancelled many intended phone calls and coffee dates in order to hold my lethargic baby for three days (again, not so good). Bummer.
We took tons of pictures so I'll sprinkle them throughout different posts in the next few days. Let's get the grandparents in first (VERY GOOD)!!! A trip by Nana's office closed off the trip well! (Sandra, you'd better be making her read this! Lol...) Here are my sweet parents: only thing missing is Naomi! Mom, did we SERIOUSLY not get one picture of you and her together?! Unbelievable!!! Dad got his in. :)And a too-quick visit with the Yeamans side was a perfect opportunity to sharpen the skill of clapping...Nothing like a week back home to increase the pangs of living far away. :( We love you, grandparents!!!
